Ashley is a third-generation realtor. In 1981, after a change of direction from listing and selling real estate with widely renowned auction experts Gladding, Keys and Neil, Ashley commenced working as a trainee manager with the leading real estate company of the day, Belton’s Real Estate.
Within a short period of time and having accepted the challenge, he was appointed manager of both the Remuera and Kohimarama branches. He later moved to Mount Albert, an area he was deeply familiar with, to take control of that office. Ashley has never looked back!
In 1988, he became an Associate Member of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand and, in 1991 he incorporated Goodwin Realty Ltd and bought the Mt Albert office.
Ashley Goodwin continues as Principal Agent & a Director of Goodwins’ business.
With nigh on 50 years of service to the industry, Ashley definitely has real estate in his blood. He has proven credentials in the Auckland property world, with his vast experience in real estate sales, rentals and management.
Under Ashley’s influential leadership, Goodwins had built a very high-profile sales presence in the Mt Albert, Mt Eden, Pt Chevalier, Avondale and Sandringham markets. Named the number one office in New Zealand, no fewer than 13 times, and ranking in the Top 5, internationally, across his former franchise network.
Ashley remains recognised as an industry leader in these and surrounding areas having now grown its service reach from as North as Hatfields Beach to as South as Papakura, as West as Muriwai, and as East as Maraetai. This longevity in such a highly competitive industry stems from results. Ashley’s astute understanding of property dynamics and his experience through numerous different real estate cycles makes him stand out.
