As the 2023 holiday season is well and truly upon us, with Christmas Day now less than two weeks away, we reflect on the events of the past 12 months and look ahead to a promising 2024.
Christmas is an especially special time of the year for our family and our team at Goodwins.
Accordingly, Goodwins’ branch offices will close at 3 pm on Friday, December 22nd, and will resume normal hours on Monday, January 8th, 2024.
During this period, we will continue to serve all emergency property attendances and assign a smaller, dedicated team to manage date-critical matters.
This year has been challenging for many New Zealanders, marked by catastrophic weather events, property damage, insurance challenges, and broader financial and political influences.
First and foremost, this leads us to thank our clients, once again, for entrusting Goodwins as their property manager. We look forward to what we hope is a much more settled year in 2024.
We are heartened by countless ‘wins’ on behalf of our clients as Auckland has re-emerged, and we remain committed to continuing the evolution of our service offering in the years ahead.
The re-launch of Goodwins’ Sales Team has been a particular highlight as we have been able to more personally support many of our landlord-clients to realise the value of their investment when the time has come for a myriad of reasons, to sell.
On a personal note, we were proud to share that Ashley Goodwin, the founder of Goodwins and our Principal Agent, was honoured with Life Membership of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand on November 28th. Ashley’s coinciding 50 years in real estate exemplifies his commitment to the industry.
